Green List Occupations

Course Strategy for Maximum Benefit

How qualification level affects PSWV duration and future options.

A Master's or Doctorate gives you the longest PSWV (3 years) with fully open work rights, which may help you gain the work experience relevant to future residence applications. For those considering a Green List occupation, a relevant bachelor's or postgraduate degree in that field may combine PSWV eligibility with the qualifications some residence pathways require. Qualifications at Level 3 or below are not eligible for a PSWV.
